RSS feeds

What is RSS?

RSS (really simple syndication) is a standardised format for delivering regularly changing web content. Many websites now syndicate their content as an RSS feed to subscribers.

RSS feeds send updates from websites directly to you, which means you can stay on top of the news without having to manually look for information. You can access RSS feeds anonymously, subscribing without having to hand over any personal information.

How do I subscribe to GDC RSS?

The GDC website has an RSS feed for each section of the website, so you can subscribe to receive only the information you are interested in. Every time the section you have subscribed to is updated, you will receive a feed. You need an RSS feed reader to receive RSS feeds from any website. You can use your web browser or your email client as a feed reader, or you can download applications specifically for receiving feeds.

To subscribe to a GDC RSS feed, click on the feed you would like to subscribe to. This will set up the feed using your web browser.

If you would like to use your email client or a feed reader you have downloaded, please see the help section of your client or reader to find out how to do this, as we cannot provide instructions on RSS for each client and reader.
